I'm suspecting the boost was higher than advertised. What these systems come down to is only giving the user the ability to tune to optimal conditions. It doesn't make a 100HP engine magically make 125HP if it were tuned optimally for 100HP by some other management system. If he made these numbers at 11.5psi, then the engine and the rest of its supporting systems is capable of producing it, not the tuning mechanism. The Zemulator, haltech, electromotive, etc, would all have been able to do the same thing. What it comes down to is user friendliness and ease of tuning. Handhelds go out the window when you compare it to a 1024X768 full color screen, mouse, and keyboard.
